Tuna pasta delight

Its unbelievable that its already the 3rd day of August and winter is almost over. Although we can still feel the chills at home and outside, I am welcoming spring already with wide open arms! In the home kitchen front, Fridays always mean a fish dish. Doesn’t matter if it comes out from a vacuum sealed pack (like seasoned bangus or milk fish) – your favourite, or from a can/tin (like sardines or tuna).

Last Friday I was feeling “tuna” pasta. So I made this from tinned 2 95g Sirena tinned tuna (in olive oil and chilli oil), 2 chopped tomatoes, 3 tbsp olive oil, a bunch of basil, garlic, parmesan cheese.

It turned out not outstanding but different from the usual pasta dishes made of rich tomato sauce or cream sauce.

Simple and ready in a flash. 30 minutes tops, including pasta cooking time.
